A sweet tasting, alcohol free tincture formula for dogs and cats, to promote a calm and restful state during thunderstorms, fireworks, parties, holidays and other stressful events. Does your dog always get stressed out during trips to the groomer or just don't like car rides? Need to travel with your pet? This Tranquility blend has helped calmed many dogs and cats in just such situations, saving lots of frayed nerves and upholstery.

Directions for Use: For best results, administer this sweet tasting formula directly into the mouth of the animal, preferably between meals. If direct feeding is not possible, add recommended amount to a small quantity of water or another healthy, low sodium liquid that the animal likes. If all else fails, the product can be added to food. We recommend putting onto our grain free Coconut Cream Carrot Cake Bites which is very palatable and great absorption to soak in the formula. If possible, administer Tranquility Blend 4 hours before and another dose at least 20 minutes prior to anticipated stressful events. If no results are observed within 30 minutes, repeat the same dose and wait another 30 minutes. See maximum dosage below.

Dogs (as needed, up to 2 maximum doses in an hour, no more than 4 doses each day) - under 30 lbs: 0.25 - 0.5 ml, over 30 lbs: 0.5 - 1.0 ml

Cats (as needed, up to 2 maximum doses in an hour, no more than 4 doses each day) - 0.25 - 0.5 ml

FAQ: Is there a risk of overdose?

It is important to remember that too much of anything can produce an adverse reaction --- even water. That said, Animal Essentials tinctures are formulated to allow for a very wide margin of error. They only use herbs that have a history of safe use in animals, and the dosing guidelines they provide on the labels have been developed for people that know little or nothing about herbs. Many of their advanced veterinarian clients will use our tincture formulas at much higher doses (sometimes double or even triple!) than what is suggested on the label. The most common adverse reactions of administering too much tincture include drooling, vomiting, or diarrhea--- but these events are very rare.
