Athena Yap is the Founder and Owner of Jackboy’s Dog Bakery. Athena started Jackboy's Dog Bakery in July 2007 following her passion to provide healthy treats and to pursue knowledge on dog’s health. Athena worked as an Aerospace Engineer for over 14 years specializing in Composite Materials and Processes, where her last position was as Technical Operations Manager at an international aerospace corporation in California before quitting to grow Jackboy's Dog Bakery full time. In the years of researching and studying the best healthy ingredients for her dog treats, Athena has came across many ingredients that can provide much health benefits to dogs naturally while also yet many dangerous foods and plants that can cause harm, even potentially kill dogs. Because of this mass of helpful and fearful information, and being consulted by many concerned pet parents through the years in business, this book is the result of many years of acquired knowledge and research to help keep our pets safe while arming pet parents with dependable information all in one place.
Reviews:
I was given this book by a dear friend who is a dog lover like myself. I was amazed at how informative it is and read the whole thing from front to back in one sitting and am sure that I will go back many times for reference. It is very evident that Athena Yap is very knowledgeable about dogs, loves dogs, and has done a lot of research to share in this book. My friend also contacted Athena for me when my aging dog was having some issues and she had some very good remedies and solutions as to what I can do for him and she has been kind enough to follow up on his well-being afterward. I plan on purchasing this book for many of my dog lover friends and family. A very informative, life-saving read, and also affordable.
